Does anyone know what this is?

Looks like he scratched an ear infection (balance issues) plus transmitted scaly mites from his legs to his face.

Could you post some clear pictures of his legs and feet for us?

Just finished the hen roundup. Treated everyone with ivermectin topically, and sprayed their coop and roosts for mites. My silkie roo looks like he has scaly foot mites ( see attached). but overall he is looking much better today. HIs balance is much much better and is not shaking his head at all. its been two days since he was treated with the ivermectin. I went ahead and treated his feet directly with adams flea mist for cats to help them along. I hesitate to put an antifungal cream on him because it is so close to his eyes and might work its way in them. I might eventually if it doesnt seem to get better.

An update on my little old guy! The flea mist completely eradicated all the mites or whatever was on him. NO one else got them once everyone and coop was treated. But eventually his balance cleared up and believe it or not, he is fine today, a little slow but doing great for his age!

Great news! Thank you for the update.
