Does anyone on here use Little Giant Incubators?

I’ve used this incubator for probably about the last 5 years, have had quite a few successful hatches out of it and at the time didn’t have the money for a good incubator. Now that I do I’m starting to wonder if I should get a new one. The reason why is I’ve lost two eggs so far and I have a third in there so far. The ducklings just stop developing midway and the yolk becomes dark. I just lost my baby in there that was supposed to hatch on the 5th, stopped moving around the 1st. Temperature has been correct but the humidity will not go up no matter what I try. Maybe it’s just not reading right but it won’t go past 49 and I know they need more than that. I used to keep it at 55 percent last year with all but one successful hatches. Any advice?

Do you have additional thermometer/hygrometers in them?
I do not rely on the incubator's instruments.

Do you use separate calibrated thermometers, & hygrometers to monitor conditions inside the incubator?

I don't use little Giant, I use Incuview 360 from incubator warehouse.

Thank you so much!! I’m going to get a thermometer/hygrometer and try that, because my gauge is not working at all anymore. I hope it helps my last little egg!

Just an update: got the hygrometer and the humidity is reading 28%
Got water in there asap
