Its Sept 5-6, I think. Im going, for sure, haha. I want a Tarantula, but my sis said she's not sure she can ride in a car with one.

I caught and kept a variety of native reptiles for nature programs at a state park I uwhre I formerly worked. The prairie kings were easy to feed (pet shop mice) but I had trouble getting the hog nose to eat so I ended up releasing him.

I have been looking into getting one also. The only ones that I have found have been pretty large. I want a baby..but the last time i seen one I had to decide between it or my Surinam and she was gorgeous with alot of pink in her so I went with her.

No, I don't own one; in fact, I had never even heard of one before the time I was in the woods with my girlfriend and almost stepped on one. It raised it's head up and spread it's hood. I thought it was a COBRA that'd gotten loose. I almost flipped out before turning tail and getting the heck out of there. I got back to I.U. , looked it up in the library and felt like the "coward of the county" when I read it was totally harmless.
