Does Anyone Raise Monarch Butterflies?

What we need to see is a picture of Milkweed so we know what to look for, hint, hint

I would love to do this!

My ? is, while they know how to get there and all that, what are they going there for?! If they lay eggs here on Milkweeds then are they going there to mate or what?

I remember in MI finding the caterpillars on milkweed next to the road. We dutifully kept them in jars, fed them daily and let them go when they came out. It was one of the highlights of my childhood.

When I was mowing my grass the other day I was seeing swallowtails. I LOVE them. I want to raise them for my wedding and release them at some point during the ceremony..
