Does anyone recognize this little beauty?

She (I use the pronoun with hope) is only 2 1/2 months old, so I'm not holding my breath for eggs anytime soon. The more I look into it, the more obvious it is that she is part Silkie. Dark skin, dark comb and wattles, 5 toes, extreme friendliness and willingness to perch on my arm or shoulder, etc.

Personally, I think about sex often, but the bird's gender is a cockerel. Look at those wattles! If it is part Silkie and has wattles like that already, you got a cockerel.
Yes, Silkie mother and father a Silver Spangled or Silver Laced somebody.

I too have Silkie dad and Sebright mom chicks and they have black skin, 5 toes and stub feathered legs, otherwise they look like Sebrights.

Thanks! I was worried about that. I may not know much, LOL, but I do know vocabulary. This bird's sex does appears to be male. But birds don't really have genders.

I think it is a silkie x silver laced something, maybe polish. cockerel
