Does anyone still have a landline?

I got rid on my land line like8 years ago... my family uses cell I can carry it with me and family can always get a hold of me in emergancies....

I have both

My cell for when I'm out and about, or on a road trip.
I also give it to the kids when they go out and will need to be picked up, ext.

My land line for DSL, and international call package. My whole family lives in Canada, and the calls are long ...lol

My Husbands Cell, for Work, and when he is out.

We don't live close to any stores so if one of us are out and we think of something we will text it. Less gas used *SMILE*

We still have ours . About two years ago we got a call from the jail it was one of are old friends who we hadn"t talked to in a very long time he had been in jail for two days and could not call his family because evryone he knew only had cell phones and they would not let him call them he had to call a land line. I dont know if it is still that way or not but something to think about

I don't have a cellphone at all. Gave it up years ago and do not miss that darn thing. Yes, I have a landline. I have DSL and no choice for anything else except dial up.

We have one....DH didn't want it but I insisted....and we have DSL with it. I am not right by my cell all the time, and I frequently forget to charge it. Heck my cell was just off for days straight b/c I didn't feel like finding my charger after getting back from vacation....lol

I love being out without the annoyance of people continually calling. If you want to talk with me leave a message at my home....If I want to talk with you, I will call yo back!

ill always have a land line i dont have a cell phone though and i never will also i got a magic jack for my computer just incase i need to call long distance which isnt often but it works great

Not only do I have a landline, I have a spare corded phone

(in case power cuts out, the cordless doesn't work then).

I don't even own a cell phone.
