The album was Animals.
I believe it was inspired by Orwell's "Animal Farm" but I could be wrong.
It's been said "Animal Farm" was inspired by the CIA in an attempt to route the communists (in the minds of Americans) during the cold war, in case bankrupting them in an arms race didn't work.
What do I know?

I just saw this and when I saw the first post I knew it was Pink Floyd! I LOVE them and have seen a few shows, they are awesome. I particularly love "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" cd and the favorite song on there is "One Slip". But I like all their songs.

For the peoples who don't know who Pink Floyd is here is a video of one of their famous songs Another Brick in the Wall.

Has any Pink Floyd fans watched the Wizard of Oz synced up with the Dark Side of the Moon? It is awesome.

Even if you are not a Floyd fan you should watch it. I can't get over how amazing it is!!!!!!

I knew it was Pink Floyd! I saw them in Birmingham several years ago. What a show. I still have my tour tee shirt! The local public TV station also plays one of their concerts during their fundraising drive. I'm going to go load up the CD player right now.

Oh well. I've been re-listening to the album. Darn good stuff. Those guys are/were(RIP Richard Wright) geniuses.
