Does anyone use dogs to hunt anymore?

I'm in coon dog country. Most have black & tans. Plott hounds are very popular here, too. The house we just bought was previously owned by an avid rabbit hunter and he had quite the set up for his beagles.
 
We teach our Irish setters to hunt. Actually we didn't have to do much teaching, they have very strong instincts and the first time I put them in a bird field they started to do what should come naturally. I agree not enough people with birdy breeds allow them to do what they were bred to do. The only thing I have to work on still is with my older setter, he needs a little coaxing to drop the bird. It takes a few commands but he will do it and he never leaves a mark..he just wants to hold it for awhile.
