I switched to my cable co.
I did the package deal....cable, phone, computer for $30 each a month.
One thing to really consider is if my power goes out, or something is up with the computer gadget they installed....I don't have phone....hence, I don't have 911 or anything at that moment.
I have had this for 2 years now and have had moments it went down because of storms or glitches...but not terribly so. I did have to go to my neighbors twice to use the phone...and one time when my girls were terribly sick and I had to leave them alone because my husband is in Iraq and I don't have a cell...so I was in a spot.
That I don't like.
But by the time I walked back home they reprogrammed me from their office and I was up and running.
The other thing I don't like is that I have 7 jacks in my house and it knocked out all but 2...BECAUSE apparently this house is old and for some reason...the old addition and the new addition have 2 seperate boxes outside and they can not under law open the main box...VERIZONS...to somehow join them together??
Their response to me was for $75 pay us to run more lines from box to box. Or go pay $75 at
Walmart for a cordless phone with multiple phones. Or pay Verizon to come out and open the main box and fix it...and probably $75. I was upset....and I did none of the above.
