The only issue was sort of a function versus structure thing - we have a raised 4'x6' coop, with a clean-out door (hinged at the top) that takes up one of the 6' sides. I wanted the floor of the coop flush with the door so that there was no lip when raking out the bedding. He "overrode" that for structural reasons, without asking me. When reminded of WHY I wanted it the way I wanted it, he countered with "but it's stronger this way!"
Okay, fine, not really that big of an issue. He built the entire thing, worked hard on it, I just helped and painted and caulked and did trim and dug out the perimeter of the run with a pick axe so I could bury the wire fencing 1' deep. Actually I used his tractor first to sort of loosen the dirt, but the final digging had to be done with a pick axe.
