Does development speed indicate gender at all?

I have 16 chicks of mixed breeds and 1 surprise golden laced Wyandotte from McMurrays. 15 of the sexed pullets are all growing tail feathers at 2 weeks old and starting to get tiny Combs. The Wyandotte was the slowest to start wing development and has no tail yet. Do Wyandottes develop slower in general, or are these any hints to possible gender? I acruay want a rooster so my boss is trying to confirm that if I'm honest lol

:welcome :frow Different breeds can have different growth rates. Females tend to get their tail buds before the males do so it is usually a good indication that they are females. Good luck and have fun...
