I noticed not long ago that my birds had some lice eggs on their necks, I checked them all over but only one chick had them anywhere else. I am assuming because the older chicks and chickens dust regularly.

Anyway, I dusted everyone with dusting powder(active ingredient Carbaryl). The chick was doing better the next day but I am still seeing eggs on some of the girls' necks/chins. Is the powder supposed to get rid of the eggs too or i pretty much have to wait til they hatch and dust again(10 days after first dusting)?
