I was absolutely panicked.

Our ship date was June 12, which was a Wednesday, and I got a notification saying they would arrive Saturday. The hatchery is only a handful of hours' drive from is, and I was positive they were going to go from hub to hub and all arrive dead. I contacted the hatchery and they told me that USPS has only ever put Saturday or I think Wednesday as their "estimated arrival" dates since Covid and they didn't know why. The chicks hit my post office first thing Friday morning, I had them home and in my brooder and peeping by around 8:30a All of my chicks were alive and I didn't get any extras, but I still stress every day over their care, so the shipping stress was just the first worry in a long line for me

Sending you lots of good luck for happy, healthy birds!
