Does feather sexing work? Any guesses?

Is anyone able to guess by feathers. Just curious, wont hold you responsible All hatched in a home incubator. The colour nicknames are just the colours I can see on them more dominant.

tge sebright is a girl and "Blackie" looks like a girl also the others look like girls

blackie looks like a girl but I could be wrong. I can't see tge pic very good. But the sebright is deffinatly a girl

I'm pretty sure feather sexing is only accurate in certain breeds/hybrids.

Does that mean you think it doesn't work for ee's? I'm not really familiar with it, just watched some you tube videos so definatly not an expert.

it works for mostly aall chickens except some breeds as mentioned above. Its very difficult for some breeds (for example: silkies) some breeds you'd have to wait out to know the sex

Correct. If it worked on most breeds the hatcheries wouldn't need vent sexers.

This approach to gender ID only works on lines bred specifically for it.
