I have always fed my hens purna layer pellets and scratch for treats and my hens were only laying 5eggs a day with 12hens this was on a good day and there 3years old
Now I switch feeds to ace high and started feeding them a little less than half a home depote bucket every day and their laying 8eggs a day now and I was wondering if its the new feed or the veg

Feeding vegetables with their lower protein may decrease egg production, as eggs are mainly protein. They may have increased production because of the longer days.
