Does fowl pox cause sterility?

I have a rooster who had fowl pox this last summer. Now I am incubating all his girls' eggs and am finding about 10% fertility. Could that be related? Is it permanent?
 
I think my question may have gotten "lost in the move." Does anybody know? Should I replace my roo?
