Does growing meaties save $

I agree with all of the taste comments when you raise the chicken yourself the flavor is far superior to anything you can get at the store. My main reason for wanting to do it is I am all for eatting meat and I do believe that is why God gave us animals, But he also made us responsible for them and wanted us to treat them right. I know if I raise them they will live a good life and then I get to eat it and it will taste great.
