Does Ideal pre order?

Hello, we are thinking of ordering from ideal poultry. The ones we are ordering are 2 male light brahmas, 1 female light brahma, 2 Mallards unsexed, 2 female buff brahma and straw. The Brahmas though won't be available until August. So I'm wondering do they reserve chicks like other hatcheries or do have to order in August.
(P.s we are adding to flocks we have already.)

give them a call and ask! they are very helpful there...pretty sure you can order in advance but worth the call...

Most hatcheries you can choose what date you want the chicks when you check out and they won’t ship them until then. Ideal is no different. In fact, a lot of the hatcheries only have later dates available right now because so many people are ordering chicks.

I hopped on a wait list with them for what I expected to be April of 2021 requesting some silver phoenix chicks. They emailed me last week that some would be available hatching this week and to call if I wanted them. They arrived this morning in perfect health and sooooooo precious! Go ahead and request them now. You might end up getting an early surprise too.

Don't worry i already did and my mallard i have turned out to be silver appleyards. So instead of mallards i ordered blue silkies.
