Does McMurray email or contact you when chicks are shipped?

I ordered day olds, and today was supposed to be their hatch/ship day, for delivery to my house Monday AM. I expected to get some confirmation that they shipped and did not get it. There was no one answering their phone today to ask either. So, can someone tell me if they inform you when your birds ship? This is my first order from them. Thank you!!

The only time I ordered from them, the post office called me Sunday morning and told me they were on the way over with my chicks...

and no, I didn't get a call or an email.

I hope thats what happens - I got an email when my eggs shipped, but maybe that was just to make sure I was here to sign for them. thanks for responding.

No MM won't call or email but will send the order when you requested. I assume if there were a problem then they would contact you. I hope you alerted your local PO and they will be there Sunday night or Monday morning.

I called them last week to let them know. I have no idea if they are working Sundays here. I guess I'll find out tomorrow!

I just got a shipping confirmation tonight/Sunday that the chicks had shipped and would be here by tuesday? Not sure if this means they actually shipped today, or what though. I am not sure whether to expect them tomorrow or tuesday.

When I got my chicks last year from them and the batch this year, I got the notification two days after I picked up my chicks from the Postal HUB. I knew when they were coming and that was that. They are reliable to send them when you request them.
