Yeah.. I guess he will be the one I get rid of when the little roo is of age, considering he is not PB it wouldn't matter much.
I'm not to fond of the rooster anyways. Lol

he is pretty though!!!! An EE isn't pure either. You have to consider what hens you have and what you want their offspring to look like????? Also consider who is nicer cause some roo's become jerks!!!! lol

I would keep him, he is still young his color may still change , I have seven running around in the yard now, and the father of them is a "EE". They change colors like you wouldnt believe, my roo what white and grey when he was that age and this is what he turned into.

Well I can't touch him and he is becoming aggressive. This roo will actually fall asleep on my lap, and has been handled by people. I have 4 Polish Pullets, 1 Ameraucana pullet, and 3 RIR hens and if I sell the RIR rooster then I may sell the hens with him.

i would keep the hens! If the ee has the blue gene "which it can" it could kick off chicks with the rir's that may lay blue, green, pink or brown eggs. You would just be making more EE's aka the rainbow layer!!! Nothing wrong with that...............

sorry but last question for me-what do I look for in the saddle feathers to distinguish EE roo from pullets? Mine were all supposed to be pullets but this evening I just looked at them and gave them all the stink eye......I now suspect half of them as being imposters. L
