Does my baby chicken need help getting out?

If it is all dry and fluffed up and you see no pips on the other eggs in the bator ? You can pull the lone chick quickly - you may need to add a little water to the bator to get the humidity back up for the other eggs after. Are the other chicks you will put this little chick with close in age? Teach it to drink and keep a eye on it.

My hatch has gone alright - I have 17 BBS AM. and one OE I just moved to the brooder today. Still have 6 eggs that haven't done anything but, they are eggs I couldn't see any movement in on day 18 but, the shells are so dark it was hard to see anything before too. Todays day 21 so, I will give them another day just, in case. I will take 75% percent. It's been so blasted cold here, I'm kind of surprised I didn't have more quitters.

I only have an another egg that will be hatching within 48 hrs. I can hear it peeping now. I made the mistake of putting one or two eggs a day for about a week so they are all different ages. I recently got some silkies from a young lady who hatched them and they are about 2 days older. I couldn't keep them with the others because they are so small. I have a little aquarium in my house and I have the silkies in there and as soon as the hatchlings learn to walk, I will move them in. I hope the rest of yours hatch. Wishing you luck :fl
