Does my cat look pregnant?

One of my girls decided that the perfect place for kittens was ON MY LAP! one min she just getting pats and cuddles the next she’s panting and pushing out kitten number one! Lucky for me because her nest box and towels were just at my feet... she wouldn’t let me leave her the whole time (8 hrs for 8 kittens) and we had some close calls with a few that were breached and needed the sacks broken... close careful watch is all I can really suggest... so many cats are so different from each other... as it was said before some NEED you to stay and help like my chichi and Sophie and others like my tigidig much prefer to go and hide in the neighbors garden

@ChickenWhisperer101 - any updates and photos on this beautiful kitty? We recently rescued a mother cat who was dumped here while very pregnant. Her main sign prior to having the babies was nestling in blankets and trying to find a good spot to have them. We provided a crate for her with blankets so that it was quiet and tucked away, and that is where she went. Please do try and give mom a secure, quiet place where she will be safe from trouble.

Now if she is pregnant, as cute as they may be, please give her space for delivery so she isn't under stress. At 6 to 8 weeks, they'll be ready for their first vet visit and first shots. 8 weeks is the ideal safe age and time to re-home them. At this time, mom can be spayed. It's important to help end the cycle. Mom could be very protective of them, so be patient and keep safety in mind, but socialization is important for them.

She actually just had them!!!! They are so precious! I’m actually not home for tonight, but will be back tomorrow. She had them in our garage and I dont think she has plans to go anywhere anytime soon. I have 1 picture of them. :) E106715A-C6A7-4954-9C1E-B63586B382E4.jpeg

Keep an eye on the little one at the front by itself he/she may need to be hand reared as it appears mumma isn’t too concerned about it being so far away from her and the rest...
