Does my goose fancy me?

My gander I hatched and raised myself, is nearly a year in may and is mating my other goose (who isn't laying yet) but he always prefers me and even comes up to me and sits on my lap and will groom me... Or does he just like to sit there, or is that him trying to bond?

As long as he is mating the other goose, you might as well consider your gander's attention to be a sign that he is comforted by spending time with the human who raised him. It's pretty cute.

Sure sounds like it, now as he begins to bond more and more with your goose watch out because he will turn his attention more to her especially when she starts to lay and he'll probably become very protective.
