Does my neighbor count as a pest?

It sounds like this woman may have dementia. Going into a trashcan and hanging someone else’s used diapers on a shared neighborhood fence is creating a health hazard for all. That could be a prosecutorial offense. Take pictures.

Hey, LareePQG,

adoptedbyachicken, thanks for the link. I'm using goldfish in my 110 gal. horse tank to eat the larvae (no floating larvae in the tank) AND trying to keep standing water to a minimum, but I want to look into these, to see if they're sold locally.

Yes Diapers. It was funny. Thankfully the little one was really little then, so the issue was minor. I doubt she'll be reaching in for the bombs he leaves now...

She once took my bagged grass clippings out of the trash (2 small hefty bags), called the city, and told them I was running a landscaping business out of my house **sigh** the city knows us now. I hope someone have as much patience with me when I am old and demented as we have shown her. I look forward to being that woman that sits in her yard with the hose to spray neighborhood kids when they come in to steal pomagranites/tomatoes. I intend on pretending to be mad and cursing a blue streak!

As for the mosquitoes: they are an issue for the whole neighborhood, which was why I was surprised the daughter had such a swarm. Many of the houses in my neighborhood have swamp coolers, and if those aren't maintained they can be breeding grounds too. Perhaps I will call the city to get the spray trucks out in our area.

If it were me and she was taking pictures of me while I was gardening I'd pull my drawers down and give her something to take a picture of. She might be so frazzled that she might fall off the roof. Nasty old woman!!

or she might take more pics and make a buck off you! Purpletree, didn't you read the post about the predator? Maybe she wants me to give her a big'ol Polish moon!

Ewwww …..darlin’! Ya do not want spray trucks in your area either. You may be too young to remember when they used to send the DDT trucks around the neighborhood spraying the peoples lawns with the little kids all standing around getting sprayed too.
They also told them then that this was harmless. I being younger than the actual event, I did see movies of this happening to people here in the States. A word to the wise is sufficient.

I live next to an AOE but luckily the kids and the crazy parents all live in the same house so they are out numbered by the "good" neighbors.

They like to leave their water on so my cinderblock fence stays wet. I have had people regrout it and everything but staying wet is a problem.

Just incidentally, did you know if you use too much fertilizer and it mixes with water it kills grass?

Well, it does.

I say if you can do something that will help you out, not cost much money and take care of the issue without hurting animals then you are better off staying under their radar.

The dunks sound like a great plan.
