Does Purina Start & Grow feed have enough protein?

When I had purchased all the equipment for my chicks, I had purchased the feed that was strongly recommended by the salesman, Purina Start & Grow (medicated). However, I've since been doing some research and have discovered that the recommended protein ration for growing chicks should be around 20%-22%. The Purina Start & Grow has only 18%. There is a smaller, independent feed store nearby that carries a wider variety of feeds than the large, chain-store I had originally purchased from. Should I return my unopened bag of Purina and get something with more protein? Thanks in advance for any advice!

I found some Nutri-lux Grower feed that has a protein ration of 22%, and I like the way I can actually see the grains in it. However, it isn't medicated. I only have three chicks, so I'm wondering if this is something I should go with instead.
