My rouen duck breeds with my jumbo pekin. She lays all white eggs. Does this mean the ducklings will be identical to the pekin duck? Does the color of mix duck eggs determine the breed the duckling will look like?

Nope egg color is determined by the breed of duck so if your Rouen is mating with your Pekin she'll lay a white egg because that's the color egg Pekins lay but her ducklings will be a mix of their parents. Pekins mixed with other breeds make beautiful ducklings.

So the egg color will match the drake's breed (pekin)? I was thinking since the rouen is the female, the eggs would be kinda blueish. I'm fairly new at all of this, but excited to possibly get a patchwork duckling :DDD

Now wait you didn't say in your first post your drake is Pekin and your duck is Rouen I read it that your rouen was the drake since you said it mated with your pekin. So your saying your Rouen lays all white eggs? and she should lay blueish, I didn't know Rouens laid blueish eggs. Yes she will have a patch work duckling and still possibility of some all white too. But most likely they will be colored like both parents. Sorry I misunderstood you.
