Does the voice of a cockerel crack at puberty?

Just a weird question I guess, but I entered the coop today and the two boys were sounding off, one more than the other.
Do their voices change when they hit that chicken Bar Mitzva age?
The hens sound normal.
 
Yes, their first crows are hilarious that way. :D

My Langshan took quite a while to get his crow in order. At first he could only say "Aw".
They don’t even try to make sounds with their crow lol. The manlier one only stretches his neck and wags his tail, then shakes and moves his wings, as if to say: yeah, I sound awesome today. ;)
Without a sound.
But they talk to each other, and their voice sounds strange.
