Does this duck have broken wing or angel wing?

This duckling just recently had part of it's wing on left side sticking out. Our neighbor who was taking care of it thought it was broken. It will tuck back in properly, but when he/she flaps wings it sticks out again. Doesn't seem to bother it. I tried using a medical tape to tape in place, but it fell off. Any suggestions?

I have seen a duck at our neighborhood pond that has a similar wing posture/problem/weirdness. It has been around for a few years and seems to be happy.

How old is your duck?

9 weeks. It just happened as we went on vacation. Had one ducking with a leg problem and then this one with the wing. Just odd timing I'm sure, We had just put the ducklings in with the adults. They seemed to pretty much be keeping in their own groups. Though there were times the adults would go after the babies or vice versa. I wasn't sure if maybe this baby got into a tussle with the adults or what. It's funny because they are almost the same size now.

looks like my duck did when she had a broken wing.
angel wing the flight feathers normaly point up and out. search it on byc and you will see some pics

my hubby made a slide on cast for ours. it works great you just tape it in place with medical tape. our vet was talking about buying them from my hubby
