My eggs have been in the incubator for 1 wk now. Might sound stupid but they feel heavier than when I put them in. Is this possible because the chicks are growing? Sorry if dumb just stumped

Well... not really.. Eggs loose weight during incubation.. I believe the ideal amount is about 18 precent.

I don't have fertile chicken eggs, but I swear I can feel fertile, developing button quail, ring neck dove, and zebra finch eggs. Must be in my mind too

mine have always felt heavier .... as the chicks have gotten bigger inside the shell.
