Does this look like a good design?

I want to remodel my coop, I'm just not that happy with it. This would be straight across the back of the coop. Also since it will be 8ft long I was going to put another panel mid way through for mama hens and chicks. When not being used for mama and babies it will be able to be opened to allow the roo the whole area.

Yes in the current coop, against the back wall.

It's funny when the coop was empty it looked huge, but once the birds were in it shrunk down LOL. I'm hoping this will free up some space and keep it a bit more organized.

Lucky me it's supposed to be 60 degrees today so I've started on my new cage :)

Anyone know what is the best material for the poop board?

So here is what I have built so far so I put my rabbit into it for the time being until it's finished. I still have to move the roost area

I used 2 1/2 dog kennels/cages.

It has two doors on the far right side and middle

The top is zip portion in the middle is zip tied on so I can still open the cage and reach all sides.

Then I topped the whole thing with a couple of pieces of repurposed board

It looks good and plenty big enough for a bantam rooster or a mama with chicks. You are doing a great job
