Does this look like a RIR to you?

First off, please excuse the messy pine chips in these pics. It's the end of my 3 days and time to clean everything out but I wanted to go ahead and post pics now so I can get some answers.

I bought 6 chicks from the TSC and was told that all 6 were Rhode Island Reds. 5 of them look just alike but I have this one little one that looks much different. She is half the size and her coloring is not the same at all. Just yesterday she started showing some darker color on the tips of her little feathers, but she is still not even close to looking like the others. I'm not concerned that her tiny size is a problem because she eats and drinks and is just as active as the others. But she really is about one half the size of them. They are all 3 1/2 - 4 weeks old.

Here are 4 of the ones they said were RIRs.

And here is the little one that looks different from the others.

Any idea what she is??

My best guess for the last chick is a Red Sex Link. I've got two of them, and they both looked alot like that.

My RIR chicks were a red color, especially in the wing feathers.

I had someone else her locally who also got chicks from the same store (who was also told they were RIR) tell me that they did not think that is what they are. Any thoughts on the others? Thanks for the ideas so far. Now I need to go look up Red Sex Link...

My Rhode Islands are lighter in color then the one Steve posted, so I think the ones you have may also be Rhode Islands...
I'm no expert though. Maybe when they feather out you'll be able to tell?

The ones Steve has are Heritage RIR's, not the hatchery/utility variety. Steve correct me if I'm wrong. I also have 5day old Heritage RIR chicks and after years of raising the hatchery/utility variety, I can tell you that the Heritage are a lot darker.

Edit: I believe the chicks posted are sex-links also.

That last photo looks like my two gold sex links chicks. RIR are much darker. I currently have 4 RIR chicks.

From what I have read on many of these threads, it sounds like TSC is not very accurate with the varieties of chicks. We don't have TSC in this part of the country and so I don't have first hand experience with them. We have lots of feed stores and garden stores that sell chicks. Most of them are pretty good and having the chicks properly labeled.
