Does this look like BLUE COMB ?

I've had her a month now, this is the first time her comb has turned blue, nothing is swollen on her. I think it's an intestinal infection from eating earthworms. I started her on peniciline injections today,so we will keep an eye on her and let you know how it goes.

It looks to me like she is having heart problems. Many problems can affect the heart, and in a hen over 2, they may suffer from reproductive or liver problems.

Can you tell us how old she is, if she is laying eggs, and if her lower belly is enlarged or swollen? Does he comb become pinker when she is resting?
I've had her a month and she hasn't laid.nothing on her belly is swollen and no the color doesn't change no matter what she's doing. I believe it's an intestinal infection she got from eating earthworms. I started pinicillin injections today.

Do you know how old she is? What do droppings look like. While the penicillin is not likely to hurt her, I'm not sure it will help either. Like ascites is a symptom of another problem, so is a blue comb. There are so many things that could contribute, without anything else to go on we are guessing.

Many conditions can cause a blue or cyanotic comb. Blue comb disease itself is actually fairly rare. Make sure that she is eating and drinking well. I would give some electrolytes or Poultry NutriDrench 2-3 ml daily for a boost. If you should lose her at some point, you can get a diagnosis with a necropsy by your state poultry vet. Let us know how she gets along.

Ok,here's the latest update on Lucy with the blueish comb. I gave her pinicillin at 9 am this morning. Her symptoms as of yet haven't changed. She still separates her self from the others, she still just stands around and shakes her head occasionally like she has tourettes. Her breathing sounds fine,no rattling. Looking at her tail feathers her poop may be slightly runny but not bad. At the top of her chest before her neck it feels like there is a sac of water there. Her eyes look fine as do her wattles. She has no bugs or worms. She is still not eating, not even treats. She is drinking water with vitamins and electrolytes. So,I am still confused as to her diagnoses.

Is her crop full and puffy or hard? Will she take a little cooked egg?
Her crop feels empty, she hasn't eaten in 2 days now that I know about. I haven't tried egg but she sure won't eat anything else I've tried. She loves mealworms and she won't even look at them. Has zero intrested when food is put out
