Does this look like scaly leg mites to you?

This is a RIR and speckled Sussex. 3 months old.
I saw the RIR gnawing on her toe for a second yesterday and started panicking. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The scales do look lifted so I'd treat them for it, you need to suffocate the mites so Vaseline will suffice

No, it doesn't look like it to me. Vaseline won't hurt if you want to put it on anyway but they look like healthy legs to me.

They look fine to me! But they could just be starting. It wouldn't hurt to put stuff on them though!
