Did you start this girl on Baytril, and how is she doing?

Yes. I started her on it today. She is super friendly but I can’t just go out and pick her up. The rooster doesn’t like that . I decided to give her the medicine early mornings and at nights-whiles she’s roosting. She is acting completely normal. Eating. Drinking. Running. Digging. But it’s almost Saturday and she hasn’t laid an egg in two weeks! That’s the alarming part for me still. I’ve doubled checked places to be sure she isn’t laying elsewhere and she isn’t.

She also has stopped mating with our rooster. He does his mating dance and she just walks away. She doesn’t squat for him anymore. Nonetheless, he still only hangs with her and not the other five. He definitely has a lot of patience.
