Does this one look dead ? Day 32

I was thinking the same and was about to suggest inboxing you instead.

Aww I love my featherfootses 🥰. And d’uccles have such pretty feathers. I’ll send you an inbox shortly.

Lmao I bet you weren’t the only one. For me it’s geese. Oh, and swans. Who knew swans could be so darn aggressive?!
I hate geese. Yucky things. 🤐

Its probably one of those things, once you own them you love them. But i will never own them to love them!

don’t try convincing me otherwise. They got some gross looking mouthes.

those teeth on the tongue things.......... lol

This is one of the two I have left in the incubator. I'm gonna clean out the incubator and start new again this weekend.
I saw movements for sure in this one two days ago now I can't see anything at all. It has good air sack

I'm have a digital thermometer combo on the way and gonna do a good cleaning job on the incubator ( I think that was my biggest mistake. I only wiped it down wish wipes before setting eggs. Egg Turner instead of hand turning lol) and maybe try dry hatching next time too
Knowing what kind of bird it is would help some. But, based off of what you said, I think it's sadly dead. You should see lots of movement and big blood vessels no mater what kind of bird it is.

Could be wrong though. Best of luck!

Yep. However, depending on the bird, it will actually vary though.

For an example, a peacock typically has 30 days for incubation.
A chicken typically has 21.

Therefor, because they hatch at different times, candling stages will look different aswell!

However, i do agree that at this point, it seems to be dead.

Thank you for your reply.
I'm gonna give it till Friday night then I'm gonna just take that loss and start again.
They are duck eggs not sure the breed as the lady sold to me said they are mixed and she has Muscovy and since they were alive and kicking when I have them in lockdown I assumed they are Muscovy but I made the mistake not having the incubator cleaned with javax and didn't think it would be a big deal but I guess they are ..
Gonna try again with some chicken eggs at least won't be as long to find out lol
Thank you again
