Gee, I also didn't know that molting hens produce more eggs. Mine generally stop laying when the molt. They must not have gotten the memo.

I didn't know that my eggs were supposed to be pitted and uneven too. The things you can learn on the internet!

I wrote to the website and pointed out the inaccuracies, told them that it is irresponsible to purport one word of that article as "truth" or "helpful" and that if they are a responsible website that is not trying to spread further misinformation, they need to remove the article.
