I have trapped 8 coons and 2 cats. I have used marshmallows, chicken strip, half of slice of pizza, part of a sandwich. Just use bait that tastes good!!! Good luck getting your coons.

We live trap them with catfood in the middle of the trap. Too far toward the sides and they reach their little crafty paws in and just scoop it out. After we catch them, its a swift 22 bullet to the head. I used to feel sorry for them....but after they ravaged my garden...not so much!!! They would come up and actually have a party on my deck. I DID think they were cute!! Not anymore; the only cute one is a dead one! We got rid of over 10. Haven't had one in quite a while. We also "deliver" opossums. What opossums and coons do to a chicken, just isn't right! Trap and then shoot....it is the only way!!
