Does this sound like a rooster name or hen name???

I think Red Robin sounds good for a rooster or a hen.
Everyone used to ask me "So hows Pinky, is she laying eggs yet?" and I would say "Pinky is my rooster." and then there would be that odd silent moment...

Red robin could go either way - I'd lean towards rooster, but Robin's a very unisex name.

Although, that's said by the person with a rooster named "Fancy Nancy"

Red Robin, that's a really cutename.

To me, the "Red" in the beginning of the name makes it sound a bit more masculine, so I'd say roo.

But the name "Robin" just by itself sounds feminine to me.

Hmm...Robin's a pretty name, I might name one of my hens Robin now.
