Does this = turning???

GH it doesn't have another setting. It either on or off.

After doing what I thought was a ton of research this took me by surprise. I was under the impression that the eggs needed to be turned and left at an angel. Not tilted and brought back to horizontal. But it makes sense. I'm sure a siting hen just jostles the eggs around every now and then. As long as they are moved occasionally I'm sure they'll be fine.

I feel very fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time. I was about to buy a Hoabator 1588. This saved me some money so now I can get more eggs... right?

In the spring I'll be posting pictures of my eggs and babies so I'll let you all know how the bator works.

It does make sense that they just need to move, but even the commercial hatcheries seem to leave them at an angle so just assumed that might be the case. I am sure I know less than most here.

Again good luck and still stinkin jealous, you will like this incubator so much more than the hovabator. Only problem is you have the capacity to hatch a ton of eggs, self control will be required. Or you can be like me and just hatch and hope you can give them away or sell them. I am going to set a bunch this spring and try to sell some.
