Does Wilma need a name change?

newbie here. The bird in question seems to have a darker/red comb then the other bird. Maybe more wattles too? And maybe more upright in its carriage?

again... did I mention I am new ????

Since you didn't say, can we assume these two were hatch mates, or hatched on the same day? Bought as chicks on the same day, kind of thing?

If so, then compare the comb and wattles between the two. Compare the leg size between the two. What do you see?
Look at the feathers in the back of the neck, called hackles. Do they appear different to you? Does the bird in question have pointed hackle feathers?
Watch the feathers at the base of the tail. If they grow longer on the bird in question, and seem to cascade or flow downward in the back of the thigh, those are called saddle feathers and cockerels grow them, whilst pullets do not.

I bought them two months ago from a local breeder who is a friend of the family. He said they were pushing 3 months then so that would make them 5 monthish...he has a lot of free range birds so probably not hatch mates but close to the same time. It was smaller than the other pullet when I bought them but has surpased both in height and weight. Maturing faster is what made me think Rooster but new to this, so thought I would pick yall brains....Thanks again

my buff orp is a little younger and has about the same size comb and wattles and its a girl im pretty sure. if you wait if its a she she will probably be laying in the next 6-8 weeks
