I have never had a hen go broody before. Does anybody else's do this "dance"? Or is my girl just as special as I am?

Yes, I have seen my BO do that on the nest when she gets back onto it after a potty & meal break. Plus, the dust bathing is the same.

But that is a clever interpretation!
