Does your chicken hang out @ the compost pile?

Unless you've put chemicals in it, then it should be fine to eat. Until I got the birds, the compost heap was full to the brim, but with Obelisk kicking around in there, it's gone down really quick.

Wait until fall with all the leaves that need to be raked..You have piles of leaves for maybe 5 minutes.

I have only put bone meal in there but that was at the very beginning....around March maybe and I have not done anything since( as far as chemicals). Grass clippings, leaves and vegetable and fruit scraps are the only thing I put in ours. Now its mainly grass, and when we clean out the coop. I give all veggies and fruit peels to the chicks!
