Does anybody else have a chicken that always wants to sit on your lap, wiggles her way under your arm with her head sticking out the back and the tail still in your lap. I can feel her head constantly moving around as of she's on look out. Actually I thought it's a rooster because she had 3 rows of beads for a comb but at 10 weeks she isn't maturing so fast. She is always the last to go in the pen at night and she gives the warning noises when all the birds run for cover but maybe she's the top of the pecking order hen? According to the hatchery she is a hen. If she ends up being a rooster it will HURT!

My chicks have me so confused this year. There legs and feet are so big. My experience with Easter egger chickens were petite chickens. And these are so big and are panting allot, like a heavy chicken would.

EEs can come in almost any color and build, it all depends on what's in them genetically. Some are petite and slender, others are bulkier.
