Does your chickens and quail live together?

We have one pair of quail. They have recently started laying too. They live in a chicken coop with 5 RIR hens and a RIR roo in a 12x12 coop. They all live happily together too.

Anyone else let their chickens and quail live together?

Also - Will quail sit on their eggs? Broody?

I had a small flock of Jumbo Browns in a flight pen thing wiht large BC marans and had no issues

well i did have an issue but it had nothing to do with the chickens

there was a small hole in teh fence and they kept getting out lol! So now they cant go in there again until I put hardware cloth around the whole bottom (which is going to take a few paychecks to finish).

They can go broody if they're in a natural enclosure thing, lots of grasses and bushes and you could be lucky!

As long as the chickens dont eat thier tiny large beatle sized eggs

and i could see the chickens eating the quail chicks....so i wouldnt hope for much lol
