Does your dog eat chicken poo ?!?!

Now ya'll know why my 3 big dogs have one fenced area and the chickens have another!

the dog could be getting sick from eating the chicken feed. you know like how they get sick if you change dog foods on them. might be the wrong mix of protein, or if it's medicated that can't be good. not like that'll stop them from eating it...or the squirrels...or the doves...EVERYBODY'S DOIN IT!

A very wise person once told me why they eat chicken poo. The reason is.........."They`re trying to get the taste of their butts out of their mouth"..........Pop

My big dog is a very pick eater. But he will roll in anything that stinks. He has yet to roll in the chicken poop. I don't think it is stinky enough for him. He would rather roll in a rotting dead animal that has been floating in the ditch. Now our little dog will eat the chicken poop and the chick feed. At the moment he can't get to the poop. But the time he did he spent the night vomiting, and with diareah all night.

Ok so it is definitely not good for them. The coccidiosis comment makes a lot of sense. I think that might be my doggies problem.

Chickens probably have worms. DE (food grade) for everybody tomorrow.

Any dog I've ever had loves to eat poo, roll in poo and lick my face after eating poo! Disgusting beasts but I love 'em to death!

My dogs love the cat snacks they find in the yard. They don't call the cat by name but refer to her as "SnackMaker". We sing "Snackmaker, snackmaker make me a snake" (to the tune from Fiddler on the Rook...matchmaker...lalal)
