In another discussion it was brought to my attention that some feed has grit as an ingredient. I'm curious as to which feeds include "insoluble grit" as an ingredient.
If your feed lists grit as an ingredient please post the brand.

Too much grit is dangerous and even deadly. Chickens need to be able to see and distinguish the grit clearly, so they can regulate how much they eat. It takes a very long time for granite to break down in their gizzards, so they don't actually eat grit often. They can regulate their needs themselves best. We don't need to sneak grit into their food for them.
