Is he on Rimadyl or has the vet suggested using it for pain?
The vet suggested that he should be put on joint suppliments. He didn't prescribe anything stronger.

It's been said ... He's in pain. What meds are he on? Are they from the Vet or over the counter? Need to consult a Vet. Perhaps a heating pad under the sheets to help with the cold, or a warming bed.
These should be doing the trick. He is on Cosequin, and the zesty paws brand 8 in 1
Except when they don't.These should be doing the trick.
Joint supplements can only do so much. You need something that reduces pain and inflammation. You might look into Zesty Paws Turmeric Curcumin to help reduce inflammation. Though if the dog is whining, I'm not sure how effective they'll be if given alone.
Rimadyl is also an anti-inflammatory. It can have some GI side effects so if you go that route make sure you know the symptoms to look out for. If you don't want to go to a vet, your only other option for pain relief is going to be CBD treats or oil. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones, believe me when I say you get what you pay for.
It's been over a month.... i'm sure they've done something about it!When did the whining and crying start, is it something new? It's cruel to let an animal suffer without relief and can be considered abuse.
Would be nice if @chickentrains would come back and tell us if they found a solution. It's been over a month.... i'm sure they've done something about it!
