Agreed! Or raw yolk. Check his injuries again today, see if you see any additional bruising where you didn't see anything before. The fact that he is able to stand for this long is a good sign. See if you can get him to relax in your arms today, wrapped in a towel.Continue treating him for shock.Keep him in a warm quiet place (no brights lights)

Please, get some clear photos of his wounds. He’s not eating, won’t drink hardly anything- and he hasn’t laid down at all. Not even during the night when he was supposed to be sleeping when I checked on him. He’s hunched up and still has green stressed mucus-y poop.

My mom said they found him on his back, I’m wondering if he could’ve injured a rib or had something internal happen?? I was expecting him to be a little more perky today but it’s like he’s almost worse.
I’m at work right now but hopefully he’s okay when I get home.
Will do!! Poor baby, I’ve never had them in shock this long beforeContinue treating him for shock.Keep him in a warm quiet place (no brights lights)

Their natural born instinct to hunt prey immediately kicks in when in groups. Unlike wolves dogs don't have a leader .Other dogs can make them submit but can't make them do things they don't want to do.If all the dogs were chasing the chickens its because they all need more training,My irresponsible brother got a new dog a few weeks ago. She’s mostly left my chickens alone but today she got the other two dogs to chase and maul my birds while I was away at church.
They all gained up on my poor sweet Batam roo and ripped his feathers out. His entire back is wet with blood and dog slobber. My parents found him barely breathing. The other hens have feathers missing but they’re fine other than being a little roughed up.
I came home and couldn’t get him out of the corner, I finally got him out on my lap but he keeps trying to go to sleep, can someone please walk me through on getting a bird out of shock, I’m going to Google it as well but I know you guys have tips and tricks coming out of the wazoo.
The picture won’t load right now but his entire saddle is bare and looks like they tore his skin :/ his comb is turning almost black, my poor baby.
Sorry you lost your rooster. He was a beauty! You might want to keep your chickens up .
