I had both of my dogs before I got chickens so I had to train them both.They trembled at the sight of them for 6 months so I patiently waited until they calmed before I began training them.I also have audio so I can monitor everything that goes on outside from inside my home.My hounds love to chase predators and are extremely noisy if anything comes around.I haven't lost but 2 chickens free ranging since training them and neither one was out at the time
