EMERGENCY!!! DOG BITE WOUND TO CHICKEN

Hey @coach723 @Eggcessive and @BigBlueHen53 ! I wanted to inform you that my chicken suddenly has bruises on her side and back. I don't know if this is a cause for concern or if there are any heightened risks. There also seems to be dead tissue on her back aswell and I don't know what to do about that. Thanks!

Bruising doesn't surprise me. I can't see anything in the pictures that looks concerning.

Bruising is usually blue green and common after an injury. It looks okay to me as well. Let us know how she continues to heal.

My dogs were desensitized 6 months before I trained them not to kill It didn't take a lot of time after they got used to them but I still kept the chickens contained for 2 years.Now they free range in the same fence
